Leo is the cousin to "Proud Panther".  Leo takes over once Proud Panther has completed his journey through the classroom.  Leo the Proud is awarded weekly to student that exhibits the following traits:

hard working

complete an extra activity such as Club Einstein, Brain Buster, Destination Success, etc.

completes all homework

follows all directions

helps classmates

is respectful at all times

willingness to learn and try new things

attentive to task at hand

eager to please

never complains regardless of situation

well-mannered

respected by peers

gets along with others

willing to share ideas

able to accept constructive criticism

good-natured

able to accept changes in situations

 A student will be selected weekly for this honor.  He/she will then be given the opportunity to take home "Leo the Proud" for a weekend trip.  He/She will have then be able to write about the lion's journey.     In addition to being able to write in the journal, the selected student will get to take home "Leo the Proud's Bag" full of books, games and so much more.
